I’m so tired of you. I’ve been tired of you. You had a good season last year, the first in quite a while. I told myself I wouldn’t post anything unless I was ready to slam with numbers, so I’m annoyed at writing even this.

I’ve wondered why the Packers didn’t stop you from holding the team hostage every post season for like the last three or four years.

I hope the Packers stay firm in their resolve to finally stop you from dicking them around.

A couple of things before I go…I have become a fan of Sleepy, er, David Cook. Have you noticed that he’s opening his eyes now?…Seyesha Mercado is going home before Brooke White…I can’t believe I just said that…Carly (a fave of mine) needs to lose weight and work on her self-confidence…I said that I would probably stop watching once she got booted, but a couple of weeks ago when she was standing backstage with Seyesha and someone else (I can’t remember who at the moment), and Ryan Seacrest asked who would be going home, she raised her hand…she lost me right there…the young females will keep Jason Castro in the top three along with Archuleta and Cook, making it a Girly War at the “voting booth”…now THAT should be interesting…I miss KLC and her Flat-tabulous little booty….Amanda Overmyer is going to be performing at The Whisky three weeks from now. I said I would pay to see her perform. I just may check that show out.

Edit on Idol: American Idol Too Big for Tiny

Calling this one was pretty easy. Ramiele Malubay knew she was going home. I knew she was going home. And, you knew she was going home too. She’s probably relieved, for she hasn’t stepped up and competed since she made it out of Hollywood. I’ve said it in earlier posts: this competition was too big for her and she seemed to know it herself.

Barring Syesha pulling a Nadia Turner, Brooke White will be gone in two weeks, and unless KLC gets to sing another country song, she’s the next one off.

Dolly Parton songs. Hmmm, not looking forward to this. Not because I have anything against Dolly Parton, but I don’t think these guys should be asked to sing from her songbook. It’s not really that good of a library in which people can show off their singing skills. This has to do with the type of singer Dolly Parton is, and what songs she has chosen to sing and to write. They work great - if you’re Dolly Parton with your high-pitched, thinned-out, less than soulful voice. So maybe I do have something against her… (more…)

Syesha Mercado, Jason Castro, and Chikezie. KLC got by on that heinous patriotic crap of a song, but she’s next. Ramiele Malubay is riding on fumes. Syesha needs to take note of Chikezie’s resistance to singing songs that the young, female demo who drives this show, can recognize. (more…)
