You keep stating that you are against the NCAA having a playoff system because you care about the student players. Can I ask you something?:
Are you aware that there is other college football played under the jurisdiction of the NCAA besides Div IA?
You’re a national sports writer. I’m sure you are.

There are still those out there who are defending the BCS … still, with the weakest of arguments … it’s very tiresome, because yes, I would like to see a real national championship and I never hear a good reason as to why we can’t get that.
